Indigenous Tunes offers distribution routes for independent artists and record labels. Start by understanding the commercial model, then prepare accurate release information before submitting music.

Step 1

Choose Your Plan

Compare the no-upfront and annual distribution models. No-upfront plans share distributable royalties under the applicable five-year term. Annual plans are billed annually, use a one-year term and currently allow customers to retain 100% of distributable royalties.

Step 2

Create Your Artist or Label Account

Continue to the Artist Platform after choosing the appropriate artist or record-label route. This is the correct place for distribution account creation and release activity.

Step 3

Prepare Your Release

Gather the information and assets needed to describe your music accurately and demonstrate that you are authorised to distribute it.

  • Release-ready audio
  • Appropriate cover artwork
  • Accurate artist, track and release metadata
  • Contributor and rights-holder information
  • Release details and existing identifiers where applicable

Step 4

Submit Your Music

Create the release through the Artist Platform and provide the requested information. Platform-specific requirements and content review may apply; no exact processing time or universal acceptance is promised.

Step 5

Monitor Your Catalogue

Use the Artist Platform for release and catalogue management. If you are an existing customer who needs service assistance or account-specific support, use the Client Portal.
