The right plan depends on whether you prefer to avoid an upfront distribution fee or pay annually, and whether the account represents one artist or a record label.

Two commercial models

Every current plan supports unlimited catalogue tracks and release products overall, stereo delivery, common release formats and the 150+ destination network. Individual-release and artist-capacity limits still apply.

No-upfront distribution

No distribution fee is charged upfront. Under the current five-year structure, independent artists retain 70% of distributable royalties and Indigenous Tunes receives 30%. Record labels retain 60% and Indigenous Tunes receives 40%.

Annual distribution

Annual plans are billed each year, use a one-year plan term and currently allow the customer to retain 100% of distributable royalties. This does not guarantee earnings.

Choose the correct customer route

Independent-artist plans support one artist account. Record-label plans support multiple artists according to the current plan capacity. Prices, terms and limits should always be checked on the live Distribution Plans page.
